Aje has launched its first global denim campaign, starring Lara Worthington as the face of a category the Australian brand intends to build into a defining pillar. Shot by Pierre Toussaint, the campaign introduces Aje’s elevated approach to denim through sculptural silhouettes and premium craftsmanship that distinguish the offering from standard premium-denim fare.
For Worthington, the campaign represents a continued evolution of her own brand partnerships. Her fashion alignment has moved from mainstream commercial to curatorially selective in recent years, and the Aje partnership reflects a preference for brands with strong design identities and clear manufacturing ethics. Aje’s commitment to responsible production — low-impact washes, reduced water usage, and supply-chain transparency — aligns with the considerations that Worthington has prioritized in her recent work.
The campaign marks a strategic inflection point for Aje, which has built its reputation on occasion dressing and sculptural ready-to-wear. Denim represents both an expansion and a return: the brand has always offered denim pieces, but never with the dedicated marketing and product-development investment that this campaign signals. Worthington’s involvement — she is among Australia’s most globally recognized models — underscores the ambition.
The collection itself emphasizes construction over trend. Aje’s denim pieces use heavier-weight Japanese selvedge and Italian ring-spun denim, with washes developed in-house to achieve a depth of color that mass-produced denim cannot replicate. The silhouettes lean sculptural — wide-leg cuts with defined waistbands, structured jackets with cinched backs, and denim dresses that hold their shape without sacrificing fluidity.
