SKIMS is officially entering India through an exclusive partnership with Reliance Brands Limited. The label founded by Kim Kardashian and Jens Grede will open its first standalone stores in Delhi and Mumbai before rolling out across the country in phases.
Isha Ambani framed the partnership as a natural fit for a new generation of Indian consumers seeking aspirational yet functional fashion.
For Reliance, the deal strengthens a portfolio that already houses a who’s who of international luxury. For SKIMS, it delivers distribution, local knowledge, and the kind of retail real estate that is hard to secure alone.
The shapewear category is young in India, which means the brand is not just opening stores but introducing a product category to a market learning its vocabulary.
The India entry is the brand’s latest marker of global scale, adding a fast-growing luxury market to a footprint that already spans the US, Europe, and the Middle East.
