Eli Russell Linnetz’s ERL has anchored its summer season in Venice Beach with a sun-faded sailing collection that reads like a wardrobe left on a deck all July.
The footwear equation is simple: a leather boat shoe or a canvas sneaker, both chosen to keep the outfit’s salt-air looseness intact.
The key piece is the hand-dyed overshirt, its color pulled down by the sun into streaks that no factory wash can quite replicate.
The stylist’s note: the collection works because every piece shares the same faded saturation, so the eye reads one continuous garment rather than five separate ones.
