Birkenstock has lifted its full-year forecast, citing steady demand for its contoured sandals through the peak summer season. The German shoemaker now expects revenue growth above its earlier guidance.
The company has also tightened its supply chain and expanded direct-to-consumer distribution since its public listing. Both moves improve margin control when wholesale partners discount aggressively.
The question ahead is whether the sandal moment survives the autumn transition. Birkenstock’s clogs and closed silhouettes will test whether the house has built a year-round wardrobe, not a summer fad.
Birkenstock’s appeal has broadened far beyond its orthopedic roots. The Arizona and Boston styles now sit in streetwear rotations, on red carpets, and in corporate dress codes simultaneously.
