The New Trend Opens House of Denim in Melbourne

Luxury retailer The New Trend has opened House of Denim in Melbourne’s Armadale, a residency uniting the denim collections of AGOLDE and Citizens of Humanity under one roof. The space opened on August 15.

Vanessa Spencer, Co-Founder and Brand Director of The New Trend, calls the residency a natural extension of a long partnership with both labels.

House of Denim gives Melbourne a destination for the two brands’ full seasonal stories.

The move reflects the premium denim market’s push toward considered, editorial retail experiences.

The space treats denim as a craft category, with washes, cuts and finishing presented like materials in a workshop.

For the first time, the brands’ women’s and men’s lines share a single environment, creating a focal point for craftsmanship within the denim category.
