Ulla Johnson Opens Its First European Flagship on Sloane Street

Ulla Johnson has opened its first standalone store outside the United States, in a milestone at 150 Sloane Street in London. The flagship marks a decisive step in the New York label’s international expansion.

The opening followed a living-garden installation the house staged on the street the previous spring in celebration of its fragrance, a preview of the aesthetic the store now holds.

Sloane Street runs through the residential heart of Knightsbridge and Chelsea, placing the label among the established houses competing for the city’s luxury customer.

Johnson’s clothes, known for romantic, artisan-driven silhouettes and vibrant textile work, have gained a home on one of London’s most concentrated luxury retail streets.

The space translates the designer’s craft-led world into an environment of hand-blocked prints, embroidery, and a garden-like palette.

The flagship is the clearest signal of the brand’s ambition to build on its American base with a permanent European presence, beginning in a city long receptive to romantic dress.
