DKNY’s New Campaign Pairs Amelia Gray With Iris Law, Summoning the City’s Edge

In the fall 2026 campaign, Amelia Gray and Iris Law move through New York as a pair, sleek-haired, sharp-shouldered, cut against the city’s grey light. Directed by Trey Laird and lensed by Mikael Jansson, the imagery plays the two models’ distinct energies off one another.

The anchor is a sharply constructed coat, its shoulder line clean and its fabric carrying a tactile heft. It sits on the body with a precision that reads rigorous rather than fussy, the drape deliberate.

Against the coat, the house’s cool-girl separates do the quiet work: sleek knits, straight trousers, minimal jewellery. Gray’s sleek minimalism and Law’s inherited edge complement rather than compete, letting one garment carry the frame.

A structured bag sharpens the silhouette, while flat, grounded footwear keeps the look in the city rather than the salon. The accessories set the register of the whole.

The principle at work is proportion play with a single focal piece: one commanding garment anchors a subdued field, an approach that keeps the composition from tipping into costume.

Dressed down with a worn boot or a lower hem, the same coat shifts from night to day while keeping its line. The campaign’s point is that New York’s new uniform prizes structure over spectacle.
