Frame has taken its Californian ease to one of Paris’s most storied addresses. The denim and ready-to-wear label is collaborating with the Ritz Paris, enlisting singer-songwriter Charlotte Lawrence for a capsule that pairs their two worlds.
Expect the capsule to filter the hotel’s vocabulary through Frame’s codes, monograms and toile reframed on denim and easy tailoring, luxurious materials cut in the relaxed proportions the brand is known for.
Lawrence brings a contemporary, nonchalant cool to the partnership, an ambassador whose own style bridges stage separates and lived-in denim. Her presence gives the project a face and a point of view rather than a logo alone.
The Ritz brings something fashion brands cannot manufacture on their own: a lineage of luxury that is instantly legible. A label like Frame borrows that cachet while offering the hotel access to a younger, dressier-by-day customer.
The collaboration trades on the tension between the hotel’s gilded grandeur and Frame’s relaxed, coastal sensibility. It is a meeting of the most polished formality in Paris and the studied nonchalance of Los Angeles.
