Gilda Ambrosio and Giorgia Tordini founded The Attico in 2016 with a handful of silk slips and a following that pre-dated the clothes. Ten years later the label has a Milan store and a capsule called Superattico10.
The answer the collection offers is material. Silk weighted heavier, feathers set closer to the body, hardware reduced to single gestures.
The Milan store makes that shift physical, a fixed address where a seasonal impulse becomes a returning customer.
Whether the fleece finds an audience will decide how far the codes stretch.
