For the launch of the Hourglass Avenue, Balenciaga photographed its new bag among vintage stereos, wired headphones, electric guitars and stacks of magazines.
A shoe with a defined heel gives the softness somewhere to sit, while a chunky flat pushes the whole look toward the weekend.
Designed by creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli, the Hourglass Avenue reworks the house’s curved silhouette in a softer, more fluid register.
The palette runs through black, carmine red, pink, raisin and white, and the bag arrives in three sizes.
