Saul Nash Explores Masculinity Through Movement With ‘STANCE’ Collection and Final Lululemon Collaboration

Saul Nash presented his Spring/Summer 2027 collection “STANCE” inside the Milanese Gymnastics Society Forza e Coraggio, a setting that could not have been more appropriate for a designer whose work has always been about the body in motion. The London-based designer, who won the Queen Elizabeth II Award for British Design in 2022, continues to occupy a rare space where sportswear construction meets emotional tailoring.

Alongside the runway presentation, Nash previewed the fifth and final chapter of his SLNSH collaboration with Lululemon. The partnership, which began in 2023, has been one of the most critically successful athletic-apparel collaborations in recent memory, producing pieces that sold out within hours of each drop. The finale collection features elevated technical fabrics in a restrained palette of black, heather grey, and deep olive.

The end of the SLNSH collaboration marks a natural inflection point for Nash, whose own brand has grown significantly in retail presence since the partnership began. The Lululemon association brought his work to a mainstream audience without diluting the independent label’s identity — a balance that few designer-brand partnerships achieve.

The “STANCE” collection explored ideas of masculinity, strength, and desire through garments engineered to celebrate the male physique without objectifying it. Nash’s signature technical knits — developed in collaboration with fabric engineers — create compression zones that sculpt the silhouette while allowing full range of motion. Paired with tailored trousers cut with a dancer’s attention to the hem line, the collection proposed a wardrobe that serves both the gym and the gallery opening.

For SS27, Nash is asking what it means to be strong and tender at the same time. The answer, delivered through the language of fit and fabric, is a vision of modern masculinity that feels genuinely new.
