Stine Goya and Umbro have returned for a second collaboration, and this time the Danish designer has pulled football culture close and softened it. The five-piece capsule, Where We Meet, draws on the rituals and community of 90s British football, from pre-match pub gatherings to handwritten bathroom graffiti.
The campaign stars professional dancer Didde-Mie Lykke, an inspired choice that reframes the garments as movement pieces rather than match-day kit. Nothing about the line feels like a costume; the mood is everyday, affectionate, and lightly worn.
As retro football style edges further into the mainstream, Where We Meet offers a gentle counterpoint to the heavy, logo-led nostalgia elsewhere. Its restraint is precisely what lets the reference breathe.
The collaboration succeeds by refusing to romanticise either side. The football references stay grounded in pub culture and scribbled walls, while the softened construction speaks to how many women actually want to wear sportswear: comfortably and with personality.
