For his Tom Ford spring 2027 ready-to-wear, Haider Ackermann dialed the temperature to a sharp, sultry register, sending out racy swimsuits, cascading silk robes, and a wardrobe pitched at the body’s most charged zones.
The collection, titled In the Flesh, leans into the brand’s founding provocation while giving it Ackermann’s looser, more languid hand.
Ackermann’s signature, a draping that seems both accidental and utterly controlled, reads clearly here, translated into the unapologetic glamour Ford made famous.
Ackermann continues to reframe what the house can be, less about the well-tailored power suit and more about the charged juxtaposition of flesh and fabric.
Silk came in fluid pools that skimmed the skin. Swimwear moved beyond the beach into evening, and tailoring relaxed into soft-shouldered shapes that still held a precise ridge of structure.
For the customer, this is the Ford universe turned sensual rather than overtly showy, strong on evening dressing and on pieces that travel from after-dark to holiday.
