UGG has tapped three rising Gen Z stars — singers Adéla and Molly Santana, and model Paloma Sandoval — to front its new Dusty Orchid Collection, a rosy-shade refresh of four iconic silhouettes that signals a strategic pivot toward younger, style-conscious consumers.
The Dusty Orchid shade appears across four of UGG’s most recognizable styles — the Classic Mini, Classico Micro, Lowmel, and Quill Mary Jane — each reimagined in a muted mauve-pink. The color sits between rose and lavender, a tone that reads equally well against neutral winter layers and bare summer legs.
By fronting the campaign with emerging rather than established talent, UGG is investing in long-term brand equity with Gen Z. The strategy mirrors what the brand did with its early celebrity seeding — build loyalty early, and let the product speak through the people who wear it naturally.
UGG’s parent company Deckers Brands has seen the label’s revenue more than double since 2023, driven largely by the brand’s ability to recapture cultural relevance through strategic collaborations and color innovation. The Dusty Orchid launch follows a series of limited-edition drops that have sold out within weeks.
The campaign, photographed against city scenery with pink accents, represents more than a seasonal color update. UGG is leveraging cultural ambassadors who resonate with the same demographic that has driven the brand’s remarkable resurgence over the past three years — young women who wear UGGs not just for comfort but as a deliberate style choice.
