Colm Dillane is doing something no other Paris Fashion Week regular has attempted this season: skipping the French capital entirely. KidSuper’s Spring/Summer 2027 show will take place at Nu Stadium in Miami on June 25, timed to coincide with the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The collection itself is expected to draw on soccer iconography, with jersey-inspired silhouettes, referee-stripe details, and stadium-ready outerwear. Dillane has hinted at a collaboration with a World Cup-level athlete, though the partner remains unannounced.
The move is more than geographic whimsy. Dillane has built KidSuper’s identity around the intersection of fashion, art, and sport, staging shows that feel more like happenings than presentations. Taking the collection to a World Cup host city during the tournament itself extends that logic to its natural conclusion.
The gamble is that the noise of the World Cup will amplify rather than drown out KidSuper’s message. In a season where every Paris show competes for the same editorial oxygen, Miami offers a different kind of visibility — louder, messier, and harder to ignore.
The show promises to be the closest the World Cup has come to fashion since Yves Saint Laurent’s pre-final runway in 1998. Miami’s energy during the tournament — a convergence of international crowds, street celebrations, and brand activations — provides a backdrop that no showroom can replicate.
