JW Anderson has opened a pop-up at 15 Rue du Louvre in Paris, a retail concept that extends the brand’s long-running dialogue between fashion and the domestic object. Running through September 24, the space was developed in collaboration with Sanchez Benton architects and filled with Scottish oak stools, ceramics by the Japanese artist Akiko Hirai, and a carefully edited selection of books.
Located in the First Arrondissement near the Louvre, the pop-up positions JW Anderson among the city’s luxury retail heavyweights while maintaining the intimate, discovery-driven atmosphere of a gallery.
The move signals a deepening commitment to the French market and a model of retail that prioritizes experience over square footage, a strategy gaining traction among independent luxury houses.
The Paris outpost carries the label’s ready-to-wear, its cult Loafer bag, and pieces from the recently launched home and garden line, providing a physical manifestation of Anderson’s expanding design universe.
Jonathan Anderson described the curation as a collection of objects that he likes and would like to have around him, framing the store as an extension of personal taste rather than a commercial installation.
