Literary Sport Unveils a Cozy and Technical FW26 Collection

Seoul-based label Literary Sport has released its Fall/Winter 2026 collection, a study in contrasts that pairs high-performance technical fabrics with the kind of cozy domestic silhouettes more commonly associated with loungewear. The collection, which dropped July 20, continues the brand’s project of bridging the gap between the gym and the library.

Literary Sport’s attention to fabric specification sets it apart in the crowded athleisure space. The brand sources its technical shells from mills in Taiwan and Japan that supply major outdoor equipment manufacturers, while its knitwear comes from Italian family-run factories. The combination produces garments that meet real performance standards — water resistance, breathability, thermal regulation — while retaining the soft hand and drape of everyday clothing.

Literary Sport’s name signals its ambition: to make clothing that serves both active and contemplative life. In this collection, the brand demonstrates that the two are not opposed. A vest engineered for a mountain trail and worn to a bookshop is not a contradiction — it is the logical outcome of a wardrobe designed around how people actually live.

This juxtaposition — technical and soft, urban and academic — is the collection’s governing principle. A cargo pant in a four-way-stretch woven fabric is cut with a pleated front and a gentle taper at the ankle, referencing both military surplus and tailored trousers. A hoodie in a loopback French terry is overdyed in a deep aubergine, the colour of a well-worn university sweatshirt.

The collection is available through Literary Sport’s direct-to-consumer platform and select retailers in East Asia and Europe. Price points range from $120 for T-shirts to $480 for outerwear, placing the brand in the premium tier where customers expect both performance and aesthetics to be equally considered.
