Polène has opened its first Singapore store at Marina Bay Sands, extending the Parisian leather goods house’s reach deeper into Asia. The 10-year-old brand described the moment as part of a phase of consolidation and strengthening rather than simple expansion.
The brand’s Asian strategy has been deliberate. Rather than blanketing the region with wholesale doors, Polène has favored its own retail flagships and a direct e-commerce channel, keeping the margins and the message inside the house.
For Marina Bay Sands, the arrival adds another independent label to a mall increasingly interested in brands with stories. For Polène, it is a measured bet that the region’s appetite for understated leather goods has room for one more maker.
Polène built its name on a specific arithmetic: full-grain leather, small production runs, and prices that undercut the traditional luxury houses while refusing to compromise on construction. That equation has traveled unusually well across borders.
