Dua Lipa has added a new fixture to her Chanel rotation: the house’s Shopping Bag, an East-West tote that first appeared on the Spring 2026 runway in green under Matthieu Blazy. The singer’s maroon version, veined with crocodile embossing, comes from the Fall 2026 collection.
Blazy’s Chanel has been defined by this kind of object — everyday silhouettes elevated by material intelligence rather than ornament. A shopping bag in embossed crocodile is the thesis in miniature.
Then with an Acne Studios T-shirt printed with the word ‘Wine’ in the same red as the leather, dark denim beneath, the coordination so exact it felt effortless. Matching accessories to outfit is the oldest styling move; Lipa makes it look like wit.
Lipa wore the bag twice before most of us would have unpacked it once. First with a yellow cable-knit Polo Ralph Lauren sweater and blue jeans — a study in primary colors worn without a hint of costume.
The tote joins an already storied shelf: her 25 hobo bag and Maxi Flap messenger, both Chanel, both photographed into the ground. The Shopping Bag is different in character — flatter, quieter, more architectural.
The bag traveled with Lipa to the Sunny Hill Festival in Pristina, the event she founded with her father to fund Kosovan arts programs. Even her carryall does philanthropy.
