Kizik has launched its first leather Chelsea boot, stepping beyond the hands-free sneakers that built its name and into a silhouette with longer, quieter associations.
In silhouette it holds the clean line of a classic pull-on, resting on the low lug sole that anchors the whole construction without shouting.
By tuning that classic to its own mechanical trick, Kizik is angling for a category where comfort and polish have rarely agreed.
The boot keeps the elastic gusset that the label built its reputation on, the stretch side panel doing the work that laces once reserved for the hands-free sneaker.
