Hand Over, the New York-based accessories label that has cultivated a devoted following through limited drops and an unmistakably cheeky visual language, is back with its summer 2026 collection. The brand, known for its structured leather bags with cartoonishly oversized hardware and witty slogan straps, is releasing a warm-weather capsule that trades the city’s concrete geometry for a sun-drenched palette of butter yellow, coral, and sea glass.
The collection’s anchor piece is a slouchy crescent bag in pebbled calfskin with a detachable coin purse shaped like a scallop shell — functional and playful in equal measure. Hand Over has built its reputation on accessories that don’t take themselves too seriously while still demanding respect for their construction. The leathers are sourced from the same Tuscan tanneries that supply houses like Loewe and Bottega Veneta, a detail that matters to the customers who know the difference.
Hand Over operates on a scarcity model that would feel familiar to streetwear collectors: drops sell out in hours, restocks are announced via Instagram Stories, and the brand’s secondary market on The RealReal commands premiums of 30 to 50 percent above retail. The summer capsule is priced from $295 for a cardholder to $1,800 for the largest tote — positioning the brand firmly in the contemporary luxury tier where margins are thinner but customer loyalty runs deeper.
For a brand that began as a side project between two former fashion editors, Hand Over’s trajectory mirrors a broader shift in the accessories market: customers are increasingly willing to pay premium prices for independent labels with a clear point of view, even as the broader luxury market softens. The summer drop, available July 25, will test whether that appetite extends into the off-season.
