Proenza Schouler to Open Its First Store Outside New York on Melrose Place

Proenza Schouler is heading to Los Angeles, marking the brand’s first store outside New York City and its second stand-alone boutique.

Chief executive Shira Suveyke Snyder said the store offers a fully realized expression of the house, with an innate ease and creative rhythm across film, art, fashion and design that aligns with the global women the label dresses.

Designed by James Mills Studio, the interior balances the residential intimacy of the historic structure with locally sourced art and objects rotating through the space.

The flagship debuts during a defining chapter under creative director Rachel Scott, whose vision explores the tension between industrial precision and the raw touch of the human hand.
