Jil Sander has set its Fall 2026 campaign in the surreal limbo of an airport, a terminal corridor becoming the runway for a collection built on control and clean line. The backdrop gives the house’s minimalism a setting of enforced order.
Sander’s gesture is accomplished with restraint, no slogan, no product heroics, the garments simply occupying the frame as naturally as a departure board occupies a wall.
The structural echo is deliberate: airport architecture and Sander’s tailoring share a vocabulary of right angles, flat surfaces, and uninterrupted planes. Dressing is framed as a form of infrastructure, smooth, reliable, engineered.
The campaign taps a wider mood as travel resettles into a loud cultural category again. The transit fantasy has returned to fashion advertising, a space for the aspirational wardrobe between departure and arrival.
