Loewe has deployed its most ambitious seasonal retail strategy yet, opening 10 pop-up locations across Europe’s premium summer destinations. The temporary shops span France, Italy, Greece, Spain, and Portugal, creating a constellation of Loewe touchpoints along the Mediterranean’s most traveled corridors.
The pop-ups carry a curated edit of summer-ready pieces: raffia bags, woven espadrilles, lightweight leather goods, and the house’s signature Paula’s Ibiza capsule. Each location tailors its stock to the local clientele — more resort wear in Mykonos, more city-friendly silhouettes in the Saint-Tropez location.
The expansion comes at a pivotal moment for Loewe. The house is navigating a creative transition under McCollough and Hernandez, who succeeded Jonathan Anderson in spring 2026. The pop-ups serve as an introduction of the new creative direction to a mobile, high-spending audience across the continent.
The pop-up strategy allows Loewe to meet high-net-worth clients in their summer habitats without the fixed cost of permanent flagships in seasonal markets. The model offers flexibility — if a location underperforms, the lease ends in September. If it excels, the pop-up can return next year with refinements informed by real sales data.
