PUMA has tapped Salehe Bembury for a World Cup 2026 collection that blends streetwear attitude with travel functionality. Dubbed “TRAVEL WEAR,” the collaboration launched in June and offers bespoke national team-inspired looks across apparel and footwear.
Footwear anchors the collection. The PUMA x Bembury silhouettes blend soccer-boot DNA with lifestyle construction, featuring bold color gradients and exaggerated branding that recall Bembury’s most successful sneaker collaborations.
The collection drops amid a broader surge in fashion-World Cup collaborations. Nike has partnered with Jacquemus and Palace, while Adidas has worked with Willy Chavarria and Bape. PUMA’s Bembury link-up stakes its claim on the streetwear flank of the tournament’s style conversation.
Bembury, known for his work with New Balance and his own Crocs Pollex clog, brings his distinctive color-blocking and organic silhouette language to PUMA’s soccer heritage. The result is a collection that works on the pitch and on the sidewalk.
The edit includes track jackets, technical shorts, and graphic tees, each piece carrying color treatments that reference specific national teams. Bembury’s signature use of texture — pebbled leathers, mesh panels, ribbed cuffs — elevates what could have been standard fan gear.
PUMA has been aggressive in its World Cup marketing push, positioning itself alongside Nike and Adidas in the sports-fashion crossover space. The Bembury collaboration gives PUMA a distinct design voice in a category often dominated by logo-heavy minimalism.
