I define a fashion victim as someone who is so obsessed with looking good that they are willing to put up with all of the following:
- constantly feeling uncomfortable
- having no sense of individuality
- wearing clothes that don’t match

Who are Fashion Victims?
It’s not hard to understand why people might want to look good; but it’s an entirely different story when you’re wearing things that make you feel like crap. And yet this still doesn’t stop them from doing it!
Why? Well for one thing, there is always pressure from society and social media. But what about their own desires? What about how they want to look and feel in their own skin? It’s unfortunate because even if we wanted nothing more than to follow the latest trends, when it comes to work it’s not worth sacrificing our own personal happiness.
This is especially true in formal settings; you know, like job interviews or important business meetings. It doesn’t matter if you love your outfit today; if it doesn’t fit with what is expected for this specific setting then put on another one! There are some people who wear this stuff everyday without any consideration of what is appropriate for their job.
These individuals are considered fashion victims, and they are often criticized by their peers. They are often considered shallow because they have no idea how to dress appropriately for a professional setting.
But we can’t forget that these fashion victims might be very successful and well liked in other areas of their life, like dating or socializing with friends and family.
So my opinion? I’m not going to say whether fashion victims are wonderful or horrible people because that has nothing to do with what they wear. Even if you think wearing trends from the runway might be appropriate for a professional setting, it doesn’t mean that everyone else will agree.
Plus, there’s also a chance that you might look really great but still feel totally uncomfortable in your clothes! So instead of looking at fashion as a way to make yourself stand out from the group, maybe try looking at it as a way to express yourself and have some fun!
Just don’t forget about common sense…because one day you’ll finally realize which things can be on the runway and which things can be worn to work.
Conclusion
No matter what your job, whether you wear a suit or scrubs, it’s important to be comfortable with what you’re wearing. Fashion is always evolving; but we can’t forget that we should feel good in our skin and clothes before we even think about the latest trends! This is especially true in formal settings like job interviews or important business meetings. It doesn’t matter if you love your outfit today; if it doesn’t fit with what is expected for this specific setting then put on another one!
